Appointments are available Monday through Friday with the earliest appointment to start at 9 a.m. and the latest scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. Appointments may range from 30 minutes to an hour. A student's first appointment during which an initial evaluation is conducted should be expected to be scheduled for an hour. 

To make an appointment, students come to the Counseling Center and fill out a brief application which provides us with some basic information  including the reason for seeking services and students' availability for an appointment. We then do our best to match students with an appropriate staff member for the first mutually available appointment. 

We make every effort to contact students within 2 business days of their application to either offer an appointment, provide a referral or an update on the status of their application. Our efforts to protect student's confidentiality begin with the scheduling of the first appointment. It's important therefore that students inform us of the best way to contact them and whether we can identify our office when we do so.
