Referrals are provided in cases where students require either more intensive treatment (e.g., multiple sessions per week) or more lengthy treatment than we can provide or when there are no near term appointments available that match the students' availability. In such situations we will provide students with referrals to other resources for which they may either use their parent(s)' insurance, their own student health insurance or pay out of pocket (whichever is applicable).

In other instances, students may opt to seek or continue treatment with an outside provider. These students do not need a referral from our office in order to do so. We will provide referrals in cases where students are either unaware of outside resources and/or we are assisting in coordinating ongoing care.
