Our psychiatric staff is available to provide evaluations for diagnosis and treatment planning; evaluations for medication; and medication management.

Prescription Coverage Available Through School Insurance

Please note: students are responsible for the cost of filling their prescriptions. Please visit www.aetnastudenthealth.com for specific information regarding prescription benefits that may be available to students under the student health insurance plan. In other cases, where there is financial hardship, students may be eligible to participate in patient assistance programs provided by some drug manufacturers.

 

Patient Assistance Programs Available Through Drug Manufacturers

Some manufacturers of medications have patient assistance programs designed to assist those with a limited income gain access to prescribed medications.

If you are currently being prescribed medication by a member of the Counseling Center's staff and are applying for the patient assistance program and/or renewing your patient assistance application please follow the links below for the manufacturer of the medication.  If you do not see the manufacturer of your particular medication visit their website to determine if they participate in such a program and download the application.

All applications should be printed out with the patient portion completed prior to bringing it to the Counseling Center for assistance. Please bring your application with your portion completed to the Counseling Center's Administrative Assistant who will assist with the submission of the application

Specialized Services: Psychiatric staff also works in conjunction with the Learning Center to provide evaluations for ADD/ADHD and with the American Disabilities Act Coordinator to assist students in obtaining appropriate accommodations within the university setting.
