Support Groups
Group counseling provides a safe environment to students to explore their thoughts, feelings, behaviors and expectations in a small (4-8) group setting.

Current Ongoing Groups include:

Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACOA)/ Al-ANON- for students with family members or loved ones who abuse alcohol or other substances.

Bridging the Cultural Gap- for students who are facing the challenge of trying to reconcile the cultural differences between home life and school. Provides an opportunity for students to relate to other students who may be experiencing similar challenges as they clarify their beliefs and values

For Smokers Only Support Group: for students who want to stop smoking

Body Appreciation Support Group- for students who tend to have a negative image of their bodies and would like to find ways to appreciate their body shape and size.

International Student Support Group- for international students who are acclimating to a new country, language and culture

Mothers Who Are Also Students Support Group- for women who are juggling the demands of multiple roles including motherhood and being a student

Recovery Support Group – for students in recovery from substance abuse
